Love your scarf, Gina! I am going to have to make one myself. Was it hard to use the elastic thread?

Natalie, you may go for it someday! I learned just a couple years ago out of my desire to make gifts for my kids for Christmas. I found ideas on the internet and stayed up after all the kids were asleep. I started out with really easy projects.
I wanted to learn for years and I'm so glad I finally took the plunge.

Once again Natalie is left wishing she had the time/patience/craftiness in her to learn how to sew.

After you mentioned those Martha projects I had to go check it out (against my better judgment, ha ha). I've been wanting one of those sarongs for forever; I was so excited to see that tutorial! That's definitely going on my to-do list before you know when!
Love the elastic thread. I made Isabelle a skirt the other day, gathering it the hard way, and wondered why I didn't just use elastic thread!
