Beautiful, Cleansing Thoughts
I like this. I think its a great exercise overall, not just for the season of Lent. Less is more. Simple is better. We all know this, but it’s hard not to want. Isn’t it?
So, about this picture. I’ve had this plant for about six years. I got it from my mother in law and it started as just one leaf in the dirt. I have patiently kept it around, doing my best not to kill it with the hope of a bloom one day. Lo and behold, it is finally doing something! All that waiting around and watching and semi-faithful watering is finally paying off. Apparently, it’s the plant that “loves to be ignored.” Well, it has found a good home, then. I can’t wait to see these little buds open up into star shapes. I’ll keep you posted.
Sounds like the perfect plant for our household…even this morning I was thinking I should open the curtains for the plants to get some sun. Still haven’t gotten around to it yet, but both babies are fed and happy so at least I can keep the important stuff alive. I even fed the goldfish yesterday! Joseph is the plant guru in our house.
yes. keeping the kiddies alive definitely takes precedent!
