Easy Art

What an easy, quick, no-hassle art project.  I’m always looking for a way to keep my 4 year old busy while we tackle the harder subjects too, so this one’s going into the lineup. I love finding easy ways to be creative. And, hello…what kid doesn’t like making a rainbow? Wouldn’t watercolors be fun to use?

Here is a link about repurposing your kids’ art. We quickly get overrun with paper around here. What about you? Why not try this and start making a collection to give to grandparents as gifts for birthdays or Mother’s/Father’s Day? If you start now, you won’t be rushing around at the last minute…I know, I know. Easier said than done.

Love the name tracing idea!! I have Jamie’s boys for the next couple of days and will definitely be busting this out tomorrow as an afternoon “down time” activity!

Hi Gina! I have a quick question about this post…what’s the picture of? It looked so interesting but it didn’t seem to match up with the link. Help?
    Thanks,
    Marty

oh, hello marty! you’re right. this picture has absolutely nothing to do with the post or links at all, but i have this need deep down inside of me to put a picture in every post and so i did. it is a picture of a baby food jar that hangs on the front porch of our house. in the summer, i put tea lights in several of them for something twinkly to look at in the evenings. right now, it’s full of snow!
