Having Fun and Making Do

Love this. How often do I choose NOT to do something with my kids because I think I don’t have what I need to complete the project? I’ve been guilty of this more than a couple of times. Instead of making do with what’s on hand, I have been known to avoid the whole thing altogether. I have plans to change this. But seriously, kids don’t need much to be entertained and are often happier with something simple rather than something with lots of bells and whistles. So follow the link, read the post and be inspired to make do!

Also, my brother called me the other day while on “daddy daycare duty” (what a good man!) and told me his little guys were busy pushing a deck of cards through the slot on an upside down diaper box. Genius, I tell you. I’ll definitely be putting that one in my repertoire.

I am guilty of the same thing! I am still here right now wishing I had a particular item to complete a fun project with the kiddos, but I guess I should “make do”. Thanks for the push!
