Homemade Brown Sugar

I was in the middle of this recipe last week and discovered that I was very low on brown sugar. I headed to the ol’ Google and lo and behold…

I found that a pastry blender was very useful in combining the molasses and white sugar. Now I have a jar full for the next time.
I also needed buttermilk for the same recipe. Slightly more disgusting, but it works.
Yum! Makes me want to sprinkle some on top of oatmeal!
